Taught in a safe, fun and friendly atmosphere, you will be looked after as soon as you step foot through the door. We fully appreciate how difficult and sometimes intimidating it can be walking into a new training environment, but you will discover that our club is very respectful and relaxed.
There is no typical lesson format as such; although each session contains some degree of fitness exercise, you can easily take things at your own pace. We have such a mix of students with different abilities that you do not have to worry about being surrounded by elite athletes.
The list is almost endless in terms of what is taught, but over time you will learn about situational awareness, conflict avoidance, pressure testing drills, pre-conflict role-playing and understanding threat signals, through to working on strike shields and pads, weapon and ground survival, as well as working in groups and with a partner. It is entirely up to you how much effort you wish to put into your training and we will be there to help and advise throughout each training session.
Although Krav Maga has military roots, what we teach is for the street arena and is something that can easily be adopted.
Training with us will improve your health and fitness, self confidence, self esteem, and will help you see the whole subject of self protection in a new light.
