Chris Rutter

Chris initially started his training in the fighting arts during the mid-1990’s. After a year practising Muay Thai followed by another year training with Newquay Amateur Boxing Association, he wanted something a little more ‘realistic’. While living in Surrey he trained in Krav Maga, however a move to Cambridgeshire meant he needed to find a new Krav Maga School.

"Training with SKM and learning the methodologies of self-protection within CT707 Krav Maga have provided me with a solid and realistic foundation to help deal with situations that can be unpredictable and chaotic. At SKM, where open discussion and analysis is encouraged, that foundation is continually built upon"

In 2012 Chris joined SKM and as a result has been a regular face at all SKM training venues, bootcamps, seminars and private tuition sessions. His own research of Self Defence and training has made Chris a valuable source of knowledge and his fellow Students often turn to for help and advice. In addition to Krav Maga, Chris also undertakes weekly circuit training, High Intensity Interval Training (H.I.I.T) and running.
